Conference Talks

Why Game Designers Should Study Magic

Come to Room 2 on Wednesday, 10th July, 16:00-16:45 to hear IGGI student Shringi Kumari explain how principles from magic tricks can be used in game design – from tweaking tutorials to creating a believable illusion of choice.

Also on Wednesday, but from 15.00-15:45 in Room 4, Carlos Gonzalez Diaz will present exciting advances in AI-assisted game development: using interactive machine learning to allow developers and players to train and customise good-feeling control schemes without writing code.

Expo Floor

IGGI will be present on the expo floor to present new research from its students and partner project WEAVR.tv and make new contacts. If you are interested in working with our students or just learn more, come meet us there.
